Love Sonnet 223: 'some Moonlit Nights Seemed Not So Very Bright'

Some moonlit nights seemed not so very bright,
I found this, sadly, to be so oneday,
It could be just one night, with no delight,
Because my love, you had not been with me;
Woe, this belief, got confirmed even more,
In many more nights that were without you,
How sadness bored so deeply to my core,
How deep it went, not one bit my soul knew;
Yet, if you come now, no moon might still show,
It matters not, I'll care not if it did,
Your presence lights all nightly skies to glow,
Let Luna stay wherever she has hid;
.... Loved any moonless night with you at hand,
.... It's night without you that I can't withstand.
