Love’s Sorrow Or Love’s Joy Poem by Irfan Ahmad

Love’s Sorrow Or Love’s Joy

Love’s sorrow or love’s joy takes hearts humming, listening and sight,
To Love for Love’s sake takes all of your might,
To Love thyself shall show thou the light at night,
Not to love, no living at all, to love the living one might fall in the lone lake,
One may ask why live if love’s a fight,
Live for living’s sake, Love a lover’s lore shall lure out thy blight,
Lend thy legs, lungs and lies to love and it shall show thou the light,
Lunge the loner lost in lager ‘To love for love’s sake what’s the fun in such a lost lace.’
To Love for love’s sake be not be thy sigh rather thy start a slight,
Be what thou desires the flyer, the wind or the kite,
Love for love shall show thou the light in the dankest of the night take you to the heights,
Thou may not be an angel or a devil, thou be human like,
Love for sake of loving or love for being loved neither is too early nor too late.
