Love’s Imprisonment Poem by Eman obied

Love’s Imprisonment

Rating: 5.0

Slip of my grip
Love chains
Allow me to be free
Passion is the drink
served in a red cup
Instead of my tea
Regretted very heartbeat
Asking if I’m your lover
Regretted every thought
That has your name forever
Insanely dreaming of a smell
A smell that has once
cheered me up
Once let me down
Twice called me
his highness
Twice gave me
his crown
A feeling that has once existed
Now has faded away!
From time to time
I feel your breeze
With a painful conscious
not ready to ease
Gloves of jealousy
and unwanted pride
strangled our love
Dug a grave & has blown
our passion above
Where is that now?
The smell?
Jealousy?
Pride?
And
Love!
