Love And Rumours Poem by Eman obied

Love And Rumours

I have been told that
Love is an incurable madness
A Destructive overflow of strong emotions
The aftermath of it
Needs therapeutic consultation
Overdoses, no moderation
The lust that feeds on
The two tortured love birds
Grows impatient
Calls upon action
Awaits no right time nor place
I have been told
That love
Exposes us to mistrust, hurt and jealousy
Ruined so easily and tossed to dirt
After use.
Brings no serenity only pure abuse
Yet, I want it all
For this momentary sweet soothing
That calm touch
And words that create of a lover
A natural poet
Love is a constructive insanity
Like a beautiful long dance under the sun
We feel no Sunburns, only beauty unless we decide to
Have our last dance.
