How long O God must I pass the days away?
When am I able to come home?
When will I leave this wretched place
And sing my eternal song?


Do not forget me on my bed
While I lie fast asleep
Protect me O Lord from my enemies
And promise me sleep sweet

Remember Your Word that saved my life?
Forget not Your amazing grace
But incline Your heart towards mine O God
And help me finish this race

I ask for Your will to be my own
And help in my time of need
Lead me to the cross of Your Son
Where His love was poured out for me
