Love On The Rocks Poem by Perry Schwartz

Love On The Rocks

Rating: 4.5

once on a day that was dull and dreary as my eyes become red and teary over many years on anguish and forgotten memories i knew before i sat alone in my favorite armchair napping away there then came tapping at my window who can that be i inquired? when suddenly there came burning from inside which i couldn't hide i went to go see was causing all the commotion when i then had a notion of who it was my head began to buzz standing before me was my love that i call turtledove she kissed me and went away leaving me with nothing to say on the matter if anything i was flattered she will always be in my heart even after i depart from this world always love that girl.
