Love Lost Poem by angella wangari kariuki

Love Lost

Rating: 4.8

Lift not thy boulder
that layeth not asunder
it's numbness and ceaseless agony
a pit oh so holeless
with swift and uncanny dread
blinkingly i don't so dread
tick tock

Will again tick
a flick, a prick, i hope it picks
a beat
a beat, a fleat a bleat
neigh, bark, dont sink the seat

A still sea, a calm sea, sodden
i long for a wave, stormy
a stumble, tussle, the hustle, the bustle
its a lifeless corpse, aging is time less
a slight caress of fingertips touch
if life leave me, it so not be a crutch
of boundless love lost
