My Bed Poem by angella wangari kariuki

My Bed

i loved them all in their own way
they brought variety and sustenance one way in their own way
the excitement is not understated in one way sin their own way
simply none in their own way
aroused a need to understand love in our own way
acursedly i admitted mistakes in my own way
thus allowing difference from them and them to me in our own way

in my own way i lacked the capacity to sanctimoniously let love reign
in their own way they took my diminished interest in matters beyond my bed and the activities to go beyond my bed

simply in my own way i let the bed be just a bed
