Love Lost
Sad words roll of the tongue with ease
Of longing, missed kisses, hugs and peace
Flows the tears in rhythmic blues
Have you worn a pair of similar shoes?
There was a past long time ago
Heavy heart has taken toll
and as the time will come and goes
sadness may fade and well, who knows
Love may come around again
to soothe the soul and repair the pain..
