Love From Afar Poem by Cory Fox

Love From Afar

Too often from our eyes is young love found;
The foundation a lost ideal
But through strands of shared passions our hearts are bound
And the closer to you I feel

This distance is great, but our difference is not,
Our meeting was ordained from above,
For worship and service are what we sought
And in turn blossomed our love

Though it may seem that we’re so far away,
It’s at the soul you will see
Our patience and love will unite us one day
And so much more blessed we will be

Let the days until our meeting be few,
Our adventure is starting, and I want to share it with you
