I loved darkness
With so much shine on face
No grudge or remorse
Never an appeal with curse
I am what I am
“Black or white” may be for them
I have been sent on earth
To live as long as have last breath
As child I was threatened
With boycott and damned
No company of so called white boys
Even I was rejected good toys
Family had no reservation
Parent were happy with no question
They used to feel bad upon revelation
It was matter of little dejection
Black is not symptom or bad omen
It is appreciated a lot even
Black dot is put behind ears
To protect from any unforeseen fear
Make no racial or color comment
It may speak of ill treatment
We are not here to protect
The ill sentiments and act
Bold and enlightening. Well written. stan brierly3 minutes ago Keep writing and sharing. Comment +1
