Love Beyond Poem by shokat habib

Love Beyond

Alone so utterly alone my being
to the sunset played my horn
breath broken and tattered and torn
In each note tears were blown
But my troubles groan in blending
Under the tons of thorn and misery
In silence of sorrow was I sown
Shattered tattered tissues in each moan
Withered leaves of breath were flown
Long pangs of agony sit forlorn, aching
Into her arms soft silk sweet stretched
my being lay deep on the perfumed petals
love embraced in the finite in a song of light
in mind of mind another glimmer was born
Knowledge had led and shown the peace
innocence so tired and utterly alone
my arms stretched to search you alone
In that moment of touch was I reborn
In that moment of kiss was I crowned
In that heart of happiness we were one
In that oneness ever we had one flown
Alas time with its bile slowly burnt the wings
Devastated and tore us in pit of angry thorns
Broken and shattered here alone with my horn
find solace in the sorrow of notes blown away
In the sunset the red ball hears my horn calling
the angels weep to bring her back beauty and all
she was the note on which my being lived
My horn, the sunset and beyond the seven seas
my notes seek and search to fuse in her beauty
to be, to be and be beyond and yet being not be
in the ocean of her kind eyes. love is, love is.
