listless and so utterly alone
stretched my hand of hope
darkness took it into it
switched on the strings of my life
memories sailed to that song
soft sweet, melancholy melody
soft sweet serenade shackled
wild waves of wish and want
candles danced in her brown eyes
slowly silently sadly swayed
distant in a poison pain
emptiness, desert of nothingness
stood alone so utterly alone
melancholy melody played on
sans sanity the serpent slithered
in and out of the flames and smoke
the candles played on the strings
of my heavy sad tearful heart
a silent sitar of beyond moaned
death in its harmony sailed
in absolute peace of wasteland
soft sweet serenade shackled
mad melancholy of moon
twined the stars slumbered
soft sunset stood still
a tear silently slowly flowed
down in a river of nowhere
to complain was never my wish
memories crept from the eye
shattered into smitherrings
dashed beyond devastation
melancholy madness in melody
plays on drawing death desolate
wherein searching this world
nothing sees my eyes except
in my madness only and our song
sadness sings on
madness dances
to a name
only yours
yours only
yours
yours.
love is
madness
It is
is
