Love At 1st Sight Poem by Shazza Rixx

It took only a quick hello,
And a few spoken words.
She was swept off her feet,
He felt they shared the same world.

In no more than five minutes,
They were like long lost lovers.
Their love was so strong,
It was a love like no other.

He was so unsure, so unknowing,
She was very unsure herself.
But they were soon feeling happy,
They were lost in themselves.

He had this gorgeous girl,
She had this handsome guy.
But morning was upon them,
It was time to say goodbye.

The goodbye was long and sweet,
They didn't want to let each other go.
But they would see each other again,
So in a way, it was not goodbye, it was hello.
