I may not see things
The way you do
Or understand
Why you are you

I may not see it
Through and through
But it’s easier
When I look at you

Sometimes I wonder
Why you’re so patient and kind
Or what you’re thinking
When I look in your eyes

And sometimes I think
I don’t deserve your love
Or anything else
You’ve given up

I wonder
Why you stay
When things get harder
Every day

The thought of you
Saying good-bye
Is enough
To make me cry

And I hope
When I turn around
You’ll be the one
By my side

I say this
Without hesitation
I love you more
As time goes by
For this thought
I would never lie
I love you
Until the day that I die
