Love? Poem by Mark Anthony Mendoza

It’s not about what we do but its about what we have
Things happen not because we wanted it but because we deserve
But through action is our responsibility.
Cannot blame time and God for every bad things that come to us

Why then if it’s good we thank God above and praise him
And yet when things turn bad we forgot about God and some curse him
Why not look beyond that mistakes and see what is in store for us
There is lesson behind and should be thankful we survive

Love for us is so complicated though meaning itself Is just easy
We create things about LOVE that love isn’t what is about
Like love hurts, love Is blind, love is sacrifice.
It’s not what love is all about but love is just simply accepting

Love is not blind for we see love and feel love
Love is not a sacrifice but a learning experience
Love doesn’t hurt for love brings joy
Only our mind create those things to fear

Others thought if they can resist love they are strong
Others thought being strong is denying love
But in reality to deny and to resist is not to love
It is not love they are feeling after all, instead hate.

God has taught us love is the greatest power of all
And yes it is true for the greatest power can be control
Only by human who posses the power of being strong
Be glad you have found love, be thankful you have receive love

For it only mean one thing, you are powerful, you are chosen
If we posses this kind of attitude then love will win
Love will simply mean Love and nothing less.
I love you and I’m thankful for you open my eyes through these things
