Lost Souls Poem by Allyson Gordon

Lost Souls

Rating: 5.0

Craving for long awaited death
Waiting for Satan to take his hold
Our souls to be dragged away from here
Never to be seen again
Forever we will remain
In this fortress of fire and flame
Amongst other lost souls like ours
Walking along the path to tranquility
A sanctuary we wish to find
Our identity we wish to discover
For we are merely flesh and bone
Until we find our home, that’s where our heart is
Without our heart we cannot feel
The pain that forever lies within us
