After Life, After Death Poem by Allyson Gordon

After Life, After Death

Rating: 5.0

Drowning in blood
Choking on tears
Lost in a flood
That washed away my fears

No longer burdened by life
Forever free of despair
No need for a knife
Because I’m no longer there

Looking down on Earth
Feeling weightless
Watching death and birth
I’m forever fateless

Endlessly I’m free
From the constant wind and rain
Myself I can now be
Without the sadness and pain
