Limbo Poem by Allyson Gordon

Limbo

I am not living,
Nor am I dead
I am somewhere in between
Slowly fading away

If I were alive
I would be dying
If I were dead
I would be free

I am not yet free
I still feel the pain
Yet I am invisible
Dissipating into thin air

Soon I will no longer exist
Not even in this limbo
In which I have remained
I will now pass over into death
