Lost In You Poem by Sushmita chatterjee

Lost In You

Rating: 5.0

I am lost in you
My day starts with the whispering winds
whipped across my face
I close my eyes and lift my chin
towards the azure blue sky
I can feel you kiss my brow cause
I am lost in you
Far in the horizon the birds fly in a pattern
a red ball of fire with a silver line
From the cliff where i stand the peaks glow
like i glow in your love pink and gold
I am lost in your love
The lilting river dances on twinkle toes
shimmering cascading silvery abundance
Midnight sky peeks at the moon kissing
making love to every curve of the river
The stars twinkle and wink gleefully
the shrubs tug the hem of my skirt
My back arches my breasts heave my heart throbs
smoldering kisses tingle my spine heady in lovelorn
cold wind sends shivers down my sides
You wrap your arms around me
I close my eyes
Thunder rumbles far in the mountains
Its only me cause I am lost in you
Lying on the couch hair loose n flowing
the moon hangs low, night silent n fragrant
My eyelids are heavy n the door creaks open
I am truly lost in you
