Lost In The Dark Poem by Logan Fulk

Lost In The Dark

Rating: 5.0

I walk through the dawn
Onto the day
The light shines around me
The warmth fills my body
I rest peacefully in the sun
I awake at noon
And glance around at the colors
The vibrant shades and vivid hues
Like a painting of serenity
I feel calm and content
I wander the way
I find myself pacing
Without any purpose
I walk back the way
And listen to the silence
Then drift to sleep
As I close my eyes
The darkness creeps closer
The swirling oblivion engulfs me
And I am swallowed by dusk
I became one with the veil of shadows
Becoming lost in the haze of night
