Lost Childhood Poem by Shreya SHR

Lost Childhood

You will succeed, you will earn your best,
But your lost childhood can be never bought back! !

You'll laugh with those children, you'll smile for a while,
Though inside it'll hurt that you are no more a child! !

Tea and coffee will replace those candies,
Files and phones will succeed those teddies,
Though novels cannot be compared with the stories told by your Granny! !

Mistakes cannot be repeated,
Responsibilities acquire uh,
Afterall you are not a child who is free to ignore these rules! !

Staring at those innocent faces, your memories will make you smile,
Coz you know, childhood cannot be compared with any paradise! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
