Lost Poem by Jacob macharia

Lost

Rating: 5.0

To the sky well moonlit,
She stared to the stars right,
Never allowing the obscuring light,
To come in between her sight, .
She wished the sky so bright,
Could bring back her delight,
That got lost like a flight,
And Never to be seen as used at night.

The taste of his kiss,
Caused this tormenting miss,
And she couldnt hide the lost bliss,
That was gradually causing loss,
To many who worked to harness,
Their ever envied love success.

With vivid memory she recalled,
That very night as they strolled,
Down their streets of happiness into the woods,
Never shying or caring who followed,
With their hearts tightly entangled,
And hands comfortably enjoined.

To their usual palace,
They sat admiring the beauty of their Paradise,
Citing the changes that could forever grace,
Their ever moments in that stance,
Without giving anything to chance,
And forever mark their embrace.

Just like a lightening strikes,
A shrieking pain ran through his spine,
Neither a drip of blood or sweat oozed,
From his abruptly entwined veins,
And like a well carved statue,
She was left holding tight to him,
As if waiting for a shot beside a monument.
