Lord, Let It Rain Poem by Paul Sebastian

Lord, Let It Rain

Rating: 5.0

O' Creator of all things
Of heavens and Mother Earth
Show mercy, satisfy her dire thirst
Let heavens rain, fill this dearth

Mother Earth's parched and dry
Her thirst pangs, getting worse
Living things scorched, wither and die
Pour blessings, break dry spells curse

Lord, pour blessings, relieving Earth's thirst
Let Mother Earth give birth to her off-springs
Let her prepare for farmers' rich harvest
God of compassion, forgive man's wrongdoings

Lord, let it rain
Over Earth, you reign
Let Earth sing you praises
For showing your mercies
