Looking Through My Tears Poem by Mike Kosman

Looking Through My Tears

It's hard to believe
I've become this way
The years have made me pay
The good times come and gone
Tomorrow means nothing
But a case of beer
Wish I had you here
It's been O so long

It might take a lifetime
For a stubborn man
To throw in his hand
Admit he's made mistakes
Now when I see it
After all these years
Looking through my tears
My sad heart breaks

But I'll go on living
In this useless way
Going from day to day
Still loving you
And you in your own world
Running free
Without a thought for me
Or the love we knew
