When it feels like every little thing you do
Keeps turning out all wrong
And the way you're bound really has the sound
Of a tune from a sad sad song
All the fun you had kinda all went bad
And you're really feeling in the pits
You got the blues cause it's all bad news
So you cry just a little bit
But you never say die

I've been so high up in the sky
I couldn't even see the ground
Felt so fine way up on cloud nine
That I never thought I would come down
I've been so low where a body couldn't know
If he's ever gonna pass the test
But it's no disgrace when you got to face
That it ain't enough to be your best
But you never say die
