Looking Out Poem by Walter C. Edwards

Looking Out

I was looking out tonight,
through my lace curtains,
seeing her shadow go,
into her car,
left your heat where,
it should not belong,
way to long,
your other half came home,
then I heard the fighting once again,
time to depart,
just let it go,
move on,
it is time,
to start over again.
