Look Before You Leap Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Look Before You Leap

Your hair style had taken me off!
It has taken me aback;
And i ask myself,
Where are the natural African women?

Where is your hope when,
You don't like how you were made?
Your natural looks,
Than artificials.

The Creator Almighty made you this way,
To stand up and face the heat of Africa! !
African woman,
Think twice before you act.

You feels it knows it all!
Look before you leap;
Love your natural beauty,
Love your natural hair.

African beauty,
African woman,
Without artificials;
Love who you are!
Black is beautiful.
