Longing Poem by Rommel Galicia

Longing

I see us in time like a flower too
Sweet as it may that lingers fleetly
As the seasons change its hue
The leaves wither and fall incessantly.

Do you care to remember
How I was then before and a year after?
Twas like a summer with rain falls
And rainy season in a clear skies.

What if there is a chance and time to spare?
Would you still be there in a way I prefer?
Or only a hope to find our hearts somewhere?
Questions still in my heart long for an answer.

All in us changed like the veer of the wind
It gone west to north a distance apart
And the feeling of out of sight all entwined
But know that our path remains from the start.
