Long Time Friends Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Long Time Friends

Sun shining overhead, flag waving gently in the breeze,
Bikers sitting with this mere poet, enjoying talking
and getting to know one another.

Three being from Illinois, been friends for fifty years,
one being married to a Sicilian, all good people, living
lives from an interior freedom here in Arizona.

One biker being over 6'5'', a gentleman, a snowbird goes
back and forth to Arizona as does the seventy six year
old biker married to a Sicilian is now living here.
