Lonely Wolf Poem by Bonnie Collins

Lonely Wolf

Rating: 4.5

Wolves of your soul captured
my very existance

Pacing to and fro waiting anxiously
for its big kill, all signified the scar
of its attack would stay with me
a lifetime

Like a lonly wolf, upon its cliff
in the full moon's light, howling
for its mate to return, is now a
vision that I will be that lonely wolf........

When i read caging i think you ment Caged. But other than that i liked it even though this might not be the best time for me to read poetry.

great poem- although that line '...all signified the scar/ of its attack would stay with me/ a lifetime' is too rhetorical Ken
