Lonely Silhouette Poem by Bonnie Collins

Lonely Silhouette

Rating: 5.0

Dancing sillhouettes of your memory
left me with broken promices and a
heart that can not mend

Hearing the geese in the fall migrating
all in a feather, calling and gleefully
flying with so much anticipation of
thier enchanting journey

Watching the sun set at the
end of the dreary day and
to see the rays effervestantly
fall to hues of pink, blue and lavender

Closing my eyes and alowing your
aroma to enter my world one more
time, makes me feel like the geese
the sun, and mostly a silhouette in
search of its image........

The imagery is outstanding and the ending so perfect, even though it is so very sad poem. I really liked the colors you use and I imagined these in contrast to a black silhouette. Excellent Bonnie!
