Lonely Lane Poem by Tinus Erasmus

Lonely Lane

Looking down,
Upon the pain,
Seeing it again,
It's hard to regain,
The happiness once mine,
All that remain:
Love broken down,
But that's also going
To lay next to the lane,

Feeling all alone,
Crying when i am on my own,
Sitting in the rain,
Fighting the pain,
For joy once mine,
But nothing feels the same,
With love broken down,
Lying next to the lonely lane.
