Lonely Heart Poem by Fred Omorogbe

Lonely Heart

I used to think...
That life was best spent all alone
Until I met YOU at my brink
... My lonely heart had found a home.

Though you're not here...
Your memories linger on so warm
My fingers crave to feel your hair
I long to hold you close once more.

Thrash my beliefs...
That love was just an empty hoax
Your touch send trembles through my knees...
Afloat in heaven when u moan.

Take my hand and lead me on
To a place where we belong
There, our love will wax so strong
Take me where you're never gone.
