Lonely December Poem by Lailoni Marie

Lonely December

As my body tense up
And flair up in flames
It begins to rain
As my mother scream my name
I took a trip down memory lane
Thinking about the first time I went to my middle school dance
As my heart begin to speed up and slowly stop
I seen white and brown horses racing to the mountain top
As I held on to my mother’s voice
I woke up laying on the cold wooden floor
Body beyond sore
Couldn’t speak thinking about what the HELL happen to me
Until I realize the paramedics was standing over me
