Daddy Gave His Little Girl The Blue's Poem by Lailoni Marie

Daddy Gave His Little Girl The Blue's

I always looked up to my dad
I thought my dad was the coolest, smoothest dad ever
I like for my dad to come to my school and pick me up
And all of my homegirls use to ask me who is that
And I always said that's my dad ain't he so cool
Until I left school and found him with my best friend
And every since then daddy gave me the blue's

This one really hurts. This is pretty bad. I hate to read this kind of thing. It undercuts one of the great relationships as I see it. The one between a father and a daughter. This was well written. A good structure as well. A great ending that sealed the deal. Wonderful! GW62
