Living In Pain Poem by Talile Ali

Living In Pain

Life such a shame
Someone's living in pain
Delusions down in flames
A soul torn from it's frame

Never is there a right or a wrong
Clever words spoken with merit belong
Never thought given to who's cryin in bed
Never an apology just left there for dead

Crashing waves upon some ripped up shore
Four thousand seagull smashed in with such gore
The sky all agape with the sun peeking thru
Wringing out me who lost sight of whats you

Words tossed around wooden chips from bad scrabble
Marinated and baked until spun into babble
Needs are too old in this monkey around
Way too much drama with Milky The Clown

Tears fall to floor washing fear it confide's
Never even knowing what is here just to hide
Tipped, spun, and twirled on the scary-go-round
All ways to blame for that's never been found

Living in pain beyond record and score
Being the night mare mistakenly cored
Could it be hoovered, most certainly damned
Living in pain is this shell of a man
