I do not write to persuade
Or state some views to invade,

My joy is writing to define
Thoughts, beliefs that are mine.

For just as you have your own
So do I, and write to make them known.

Whether you agree or not, we're free
We are not duplicates, you and me.

It's futile then to even suggest
A debate on it, so it is best

You live your life and I'll live mine
We don't own the world -and that's just fine!
