Listening To Tears Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Listening To Tears

Listening to tears of a drunk falling into his alcoholic drink, sorrow filling his heart and soul, but music cannot quench the emptiness of his heart, neither can the alcohol.

Thinking of a time when life was filled with love and sharing, a true love that stayed for too many years and finally couldn't
take it anymore.

Not wanting to be last in his heart and life, his drinking just too much to handle, wanting so much more than what he could give her.

Leaving him to his alcohol, walking away to find someone who could love and care for her, no one to drink their love into
a stupor, finding another that that cared more for her than drinking alcohol.
