Listen To Who You Hear Poem by Randy McClave

Listen To Who You Hear

If the voice causes panic and not calm
Then do not listen on,
If what you hear causes you to feel a sense of panic not peace
Then that hearing should immediately cease.
If you feel that your inner joy is lost
Think, your soul is the ultimate cost,
If the voice speaks of greed and of hatred that you just heard
Remember, that goes against God's own word.
One thing all sinners past and present will confess
The Devil will always make you feel worthless,
And God's gift
Your soul through his words he will immediately lift.
If lying and cheating is all that you hear
Then close your ear,
Listen to the voice that speaks of kindness and good
As a Christian truly should.
The Devil will always leave a scar
God will always tell you how important that you are,
Remember you truly have the choice
To listen to the voice.
