Limerick-90. Tolerance Poem by Valsa George

Limerick-90. Tolerance

Rating: 4.9

'Accept that to suffer is life
Tolerate your opponent without strife'
To this he did abide
But silently sighed
Whenever he was with his wife!

There is a humourous twist to this verse, but you touch on a profound, sad reality for some. A brilliant poem, Valsa. You have elevated the limerick.

Sad to think that many marriages we think are happy and content may only be a mutual tolerance. Valsa, this time I searched out a limerick to read! For me, that is like saying I climbed Mt. Everest! I enjoy your limericks very much- -you have a subtly and a grace that so many other poets don't give theirs. Well done. Very well done.10+++++++++
