Lilliput

Kafka agreed with Swift's emphasis
that 'Parents are the least of all others
to be trusted with the education of their children',

but considering this to be too concisely worded
to be understood but differently
by everyone who read it,

he expounded confidently, with only the one proviso:
that he dare not be so emphatic,
as he had just been an ungrateful son,
hadn't had one.
