Like Mouse Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Like Mouse

Like mouse

Wonder if you ever
Stopped in the corner
Watching mouse in a jar
Working hard to get out…

I did but it was when
Jar's walls were very tall
And it was in window
Of a shop in a mall…

Both were locked!

This is life that I live
Within walls
Of eighteen-eighty-five.

Out on road and away
People go everywhere
One searches for the shoe,
One, wrenches and glue,
One runs fast after child,
Another eats and gulps.

To me each, everyone
Is sharp bone, the tip of
A flying arrow for a goal.

All are right, but none is,
They work in tight limits,
When reaching the point
They declare: "End of it! "

Unaware, loud is shout:
"Discovered, this is it! "

I am like dandelion
Travel, take message,
With breeze or by wind,
So, there are more to see:
"History is not line,
Is huge sphere…"
