Light And Dark Poem by Aryana West

Light And Dark

Rating: 5.0

An unwinnable war.
A silent scream.
A frozen stare.
This is me hiding in the shadows.
Breathing.
Not breathing.
When will it be forgotten?
Ignorance
Is what I aim for.
To be cast away,
Conscience seared,
Too far for even you to reach me.
I know that the dark will run from the light
But I want
Your light to push my darkness away.
