Life's Chimera Poem by Rafik Romdhani

Life's Chimera

... and you 've been tempted by life's chimera
But life proffers sweetness and soon kicks
You took the volatile roads heartpecker
Just to nag the peace of birds!
You spoke like a thunder to a mountain
Like a hell-deep volcano you burst
YetI kept silent for I 'd known the end to silence
A heart'dblow out as a plane in a fog
Nevermind look at yourself now my friend!
You've lost direction like a she-hedgehog
You' ve gone barmy 'n barking as a dog
With rabies looking in vain for its owner
But since when unleashed dogs have owner
Wanting homecoming? but home has gone
Emotions took my arm and to barman we run
The remnants of a dried flower many a thorn
'N only thorns are thrown memates as I drown
In the waters of time
