Life Is Too Short... Poem by Timothy Venard

Life Is Too Short...

Rating: 5.0

Life is too short for fun,
No matter how hard you try.
‘Don’t play ‘till the work is done
And it ends the day you die.

Life is too short for games.
There’s just no time to play.
You can’t go while the work remains
And your childhood is taken away.

Life is too short to live
It’s only enough for work
Happiness is something no one can give,
And life becomes berserk

Life is too short for love
But not too short for hate
Money is all we love.
Why do we think it’s so great?

Timothy, my poet friend, you have wisdom of a poet who, observes life and calls it as it is, as opposed to what it's not.'Life is Too Short' especially when it's measures by the fun, the games, hate, love. Yes. when the dominates ones in a society creates/makes his world in his[ her's] images we get his attitudes, likes and dislikes, and values...money and power his strongest desire. We just have to live our lives in a manner that benifits all humanity in a timeless and spaceless society. Good write Timothy, keep writing.
