Life Is
I can tell you
That life is
No smooth highway
It can have
Those twists
And turns
It can give
You some lumps
And some bumps
It has so
Many dangers
And detours
Which can be
Made up of construction
And some self destruction
There are no
Short cuts
In life
So why make it harder
Than it has to be
This needs to be clear
Life is
No smooth Highway
So accept some help
That can make it easier
you are so right in this poem and some people need to get that understanding. I love it! !
Life is really define as you put it in your poetry. There's a lot of twist and turns that one may never know what will one lead to. Another good poem, indeed.

You have a point. Self destruction is a shortcut and it seems so easy, but this poem doesn't suggest to do that. It suggests to ask for help which is good. keep up the good work. :)
