Life

I WONDERED HOW THE
WORLD WOULD BE
WITHOUT ME, MY EMOTIONS
MY HOPES AND MY DESIRES

WHEN FAG OF MY LIFE ENDS,
LIKE EVERY OTHER SOULS...
I WILL BE WEIGHTLESS AND NOTHING MORE
THOUGH I WILL BE WISHING
FOR MORE AND MORE LIFE...

I KNOW...LIKE EVERY OTHER SOULS
I WILL BE TOO, FORGOTTEN
LIKE AN UNKNOWN EMOTION
I KNOW...LIKE EVERY OTHER SOULS
I WILL BE TOO, GATHERED AS MEMORIES...

MY FAULTS AND RIGHTS
MY TRUTHS AND LIES
WILL BE FORGIVEN AND FORGOTTEN
ONCE... AND SOON FOREVER...

BUT STILL I WISH I SHALL
NOT ACCEPT...DEATH,
WISHES SHOULD COMPETE DEATH
AND SHOULD LIVE LIKE A GREBE

Poem of the Day

poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti

A little while a little love
The hour yet bears for thee and me
Who have not drawn the veil to see
If still our heaven be lit above.
