I once had a happy mind
I used sing and dance and laugh
But suddendly a cruel shade
Creeped into my beautiful life
It took away my laughter
Broke my legs
And let my tears
stream down my face
And as I asked why it was
That I could not laugh anymore
It said 'because you've been happy
for way, way too long'
And I guess that's what life is
What all sad teens do say
What all old people have experienced
In the same or a different way
But who am I to tell you
What will happen to you
As in your free will you can do
Whatever the hell you want
But just let me assure you
That when your life will start to fall
I bet that you will think of me
Cause life, it gets us all
