Lie
The lie
The simplicity of the lie
It shows up on your face
Your words come out at a different pace
The rush of blood when you lie
The tremble of the heart
The beads of sweat
Your pinnocio nose
It gives it all away
A lie perfected
Can always be detected
Turning the facts upside down
In your guilt one day you will drown
The ocean of truth will sweep it away
Your lie will become your burden one day
